When clients contact our office they will sometimes confer with one of our Legal Assistants, especially during the period we are gathering information before your trial date. We have assembled a great group of professionals who are very familiar with the firms procedures. So, you can feel good that if you are speaking to them you are getting the correct information. Below is an introduction to our office team.

Christina Pendleton: Owner/Attorney Christina was born in Taegu, the fourth largest city in South Korea. She first moved to the United States as a child for several years while her father pursued his doctorate degree in Maryland. Christina returned to Korea for some time and then later moved back to United States during high school, this time living in Cary, North Carolina. Christina has played piano from the age of 4 and upon graduation from Cary High School she attended University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill on a classical piano performance scholarship.

While Christina maintains a passion for music, she chose a career in law. During law school at North Carolina Central University Christina served as a law clerk at the North Carolina General Assembly and at the Durham County District Attorney’s Office handling General District Court matters.

After passing the bar exam Christina worked for a high-volume traffic law practice serving central Virginia. This allowed Christina to help thousands of clients and gain a wealth of experience which she continues to use to help clients in the counties she serves. Chrisina speaks Korean fluently.

Christina is admitted to practice in Virginia, Washington D.C., and Fourth Circuit (Eastern District of VA and Western District of VA) as well as the United States Bankruptcy Court.

Damon Pendleton: Attorney
Damon is a Virginia native who graduated from Middle Tennessee State University.  While attending North Carolina Central University School of Law, Damon helped resurrect the school’s student chapter of the American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA) and served as its vice president.

Prior to attending law school Damon worked as a claims adjuster for one of the largest insurance carriers in the country. Constantly unhappy with the way accident victims were treated he decided to attend law school intending to represent those victims against insurance companies.

During law school Damon served as law clerk to the Honorable Mary Terrell-Gooden in the District of Columbia Superior Court, in the Office of the Virginia Attorney General, and at the law firm of Pulley, Watson, King, and Lischer in Durham, NC.

After graduation Damon worked as a contractor in litigation support for the United States Department of Justice on cases representing billions of dollars of damages. After passing the bar exam, Damon worked at one of the leading high-volume personal injury practices in Richmond.

Damon’s law practice is centered around helping people. Damon represents injured victims all around the Commonwealth of Virginia. Damon also handles traffic defense matters in several counties of Central Virginia.  Also, he donates part of his time representing Virginia workers who are denied unemployment benefits by the Virginia Employment Commission. Damon is admitted to the Virginia State Bar and is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.

Aaron Cluett: Attorney
Aaron is a Virginia native who grew up in Williamsburg, Virginia and attended college at Christopher Newport University where he was a member of the school’s NCAA Golf Team. After graduating from college, Aaron enrolled at the University of Louisville’s Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and graduate cum laude in 2009. During law school, Aaron interned with the Office of the Attorney General here in Virginia and with the Louisville / Jefferson County Public Defender Corporation as an IOLTA Defender Fellow.

After law school, Aaron contracted with litigation support teams to provide project support to some of the largest law firms in Richmond. His work included helping residents of the Louisiana Gulf Coast file claims arising from the Deepwater Horizon Disaster and aiding in the recovery of funds for African-American farmers due to past USDA discrimination.

Aaron decided to pursue a career in law to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather who was a successful criminal defense attorney in Southern California after a distinguished career in the United States Navy which included service during World War II. He enjoys golf, current events, and the study of history.

Aaron is admitted to the Virginia State Bar.

Veronica: Legal Assistant

Veronica is bilingual, speaking Spanish as well as English. She was born and grew up with her family in Tucson, Arizona and is a recent transplant to the Richmond area. Veronica received her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from ITT Technical Institute and she is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree with the goal of eventually earning a Ph. D in Forensic Science. When not working, Veronica loves to spend time with her family outdoors at parks and festivals, reading, cooking, and trying all types of new things as she explores her new home in Richmond, Virginia.

Christine: Paralegal
Christine was born in Quezon City, Philippines and moved to the United States with her family as a child. She graduated from Mount Olive High School in Flanders, New Jersey and she recently relocated to Richmond on her own where she plans to attend college to pursue her studies in Business. Christine is bilingual, speaking Tagalog as well as English. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, baking, attending concerts and festivals, playing with her two cats, Toad and Tate, and exploring her new home in the city.




Khushboo: Legal Assistant
Khushboo was born and raised in Gujarat, India. She moved to the United States 3 years ago with her parents. Though she appears to be a quiet person, she is definitely fun to hang out with once you get to know her. She is friendly, funny, and talkative. “Enjoy, and let others enjoy!” is her motto. She enjoys with friends, sketching Heena, listening to music. She is pursuing a degree in Business Administration at J. Sargent Reynold’s and plans to transfer to VCU. Besides English Khushboo speaks Hindi and Gujarati fluently.






Jordan is the newest addition to the firm born February 2, 2012. He’s not answering the phones yet but may rarely hear him in the background providing moral support and comic relief to the team. He’s recently entered training to stuff and place stamps on envelopes. We are pushing for a tentative graduation date of late 2013. When not sleeping he enjoys putting random things in his mouth and traveling with his mom and dad. He’s had his passport since 3 months and is on a mission to see how many stamps he can get in his first 5 years.
